It's funny how over 200 years pass,
And people have forgotten,
About the Stamp Act!
Colonists were furious,
And willing to fight,
Over a tiny little tax,
That threatened their rights.
Today we have deceptive ponzi schemes,
(like the bottomless pit of Social Security),
The State is a bully, hurting the quality of life,
And people shrug it off when they know it's not right.
They keep working and working and paying their taxes...
Believing the lie that it benefits the masses!
"It's for the Public Good" someone raises their voice,
(A duped public tends to reject the value of choice)
Yes, Uncle Sam, (the middle man)
Always gets a piece of your check,
And I'm sure you have a clue,
As to where your money went...
Afghanistan, Iraq, who's going to be next?
Most of it pays for the interest on our growing national debt,
The rest was misallocated and irrationally spent,
To bail out politician's corrupt Wall Street friends!
If the new collapse hell,
Is something we want to escape,
Then YES! The entire system needs to be swept away.
(It's nothing but an immoral, unconstitutional waste!)
Authority is an illusion,
Disassemble it with grace.
